スミソニアン・マガジン（Smithsonian Magazine）が開催する恒例の「ミュージアムデー」（Museum Day）。全米のスミソニアン博物館や参加博物館の入館料が無料となり、今年は9月21日（土）に開催される。
参加希望者は公式サイト（Smithsonian Magazine website）から、メールアドレスと氏名を入力すると、2名分の入場券がダウロードできる。
ニューヨークではクーパー・ヒューイット国立デザイン博物館や、ユダヤ博物館、イントレピッド海上航空宇宙博物館など18の博物館が参加する。
