ニューヨーク州のクオモ知事は10日、グランドセントラルターミナルやペンステーションなどの駅にワクチンの接種会場を設けると発表。
会場では、1回で接種が完了するジョンソン&ジョンソンのワクチンを使用する。さらに接種した人には、7日間分のメトロカードもしくは、ロングアイランド鉄道(LIRR)・メトロノース鉄道の片道乗車券2回分を提供する。
期間は12日から16日。以下の駅に接種会場を設ける。希望者は、予約なしで無料でワクチンを接種することができる。
- Ossing – MetroNorth station – 3 p.m. to 8 p.m.
- East 180th Street in the Bronx – 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.
- Grand Central Station – Vanderbilt Hall – 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.
- Penn Station – 34th St. Corridor – 3 p.m. to 8 p.m.
- Coney Island – 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.
- 179th Street – Jamaica – 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.
- Hempstead LIRR station – 3 p.m. to 8 p.m.
- Broadway Junction – 3 p.m. to 8 p.m.
From May 12 – May 16 we will open walk-in one-shot vaccination sites at 8 MTA sites.

NY市のワクチン接種700万回超
ニューヨーク市ではワクチンの接種回数が700万回を超えた。前日の新規感染者数は799人、7日間の検査陽性率は2%となり、6カ月間で最低となった。
デブラシオ市長は、接種を加速するため、水族館や動物園、植物園のチケットを提供すると発表している。
