ブルーノ・マーズ(Bruno Mars)が最優秀アルバム賞ほか、最優秀レコード賞、最優秀楽曲賞の主要3部門を制覇し、最優秀R&Bパフォーマンス、ベストR&Bソング、最優秀R&Bアルバム、最優秀エンジニアアルバム（クラッシック以外）を合わせて合計7部門を受賞した。
また、ケンドリック・ラマー(Kendrick Lamar)はラップカテゴリーの4部門（最優秀ラップパフォーマンス、最優秀ラップ/スナッグパフォーマンス、最優秀ラップソング、最優秀ラップアルバム）制覇した。
